This evening I decided to have a drive along to Seaburn White Lighthouse, which is a popular destination for locals to take their daily walks. This is a place that welcomes all ages, and there are many delicious food takeaway restaurants all along the nearby road, a great place if you crave fish and chips. WARNING! It does get very busy along here on the weekends, even during lockdown, so I recommend if you want to visit here to go through the week.
As it is a Thursday afternoon it is pretty quiet, with only a few people on the beach and path. My aim was to photograph the lighthouse with good lighting before the sun set behind the houses and to photograph the beach below as well. I found it quite difficult to find a composition that I liked of the lighthouse as there isn't much around it to frame it well. I wanted to include the bench in some way, but the photograph below was the best I could get. I think I need to come back here after doing so research to see how other photographers have taken this shot. I am lacking inspiration, even though this is a lovely place to visit.
